Lutzmann International Consulting has upgraded its innovative dry powder mixer, for powdered or pelletized polymers, pigments, and additives, which saves cleaning costs by up to 70%.

Featuring an industry-first design, the electronically controlled "OMEGA" mixer combines an enclosed housing with exhaust capability to keep the work area clean and to minimize exposure to toxic materials.

The "OMEGA" mixer achieves maximum efficiency and productivity by featuring a movable platform, a unique, easy-to-clean mixing blade, and removable mixing bowls. Simply remove the bowl, air blast the blade, and the mixer is ready for the next batch.

Interchangeable mixing bowls are available in spun stainless steel for in-plant use.

Time consuming clean up and downtime are thus substantially reduced. The "OMEGA" mixer is available in seven sizes to allow a variety of batch sizes.

Mixing speed (tip speed) is controlled by a state-of-the-art ABB adjustable frequency drive that achieves the ultimate in AC motor control.

Lutzmann International Consulting will custom manufacture "OMEGA" mixers to meet a wide variety of specifications. Available options include liquid addition port, digital timers and meters, temperature control and special cooling systems.
